Heather has been teaching since March of 2008. She had been exercising on my own for about a year when she was asked to teach classes. Heather teaches RPM on a part time basis and enjoys it thoroughly. She attended the University of Vermont where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Bachelor of Arts in Geography. Heather works full time at the South Fork Natural History Museum in Bridgehampton as a nature educator taking care of native animals and teaching children and adults about them. Animals are very important to her, as she has worked with everything from dolphins to sea lions, to dogs and cats, to cows and horses, to turtles, frogs, and salamanders. As a child, she was a tomboy, very into playing sports including basketball, hockey, soccer, and eventually was on the swim team in high school where she grew up in New Jersey. Heather learned to cook from my mother and it has stuck with her ever since. She really enjoys it. She is very close with my family and they are very supportive of everything she does. Heather also collect license plates and has almost every state and a bunch of other countries. She makes artwork with them that are some of her most prized possessions.
